Future Career?

Entry made by Alex

So I'm pretty dead-set on becoming a teacher... But a lot of people have been asking why I'm not going into psychology or something along those lines. While it sounds appealing, I don't think I'm cut out for it... I'm just good to talk to, I guess. Perhaps I'll take it up after I finish my teaching courses, as a backup of sorts...

Psychiatrist requires an M.D. so I don't think that suits you haha. Psychology, while it is something that interests many people, really makes not that much money. Not to mention that I've known you for so long and you tend to be burdened by other people's problems. I definitely would not suggest it to someone like you - as therapeutic a listener you are (and even I can vouch for that) - simply because you need a pretty damn cold heart, yet compassionate at the same time?

Which goes to say that if you're dead set on it, then go for it. However, I've always known you to be better with the computer and sorts, plus you're extremely patient, so I can see how becoming a teacher is EXTREMELY fitting for you.

But, if you go to University, I think you can MAJOR in IT teaching and MINOR in psychology? It's a lot of work and I know you like to chillax. However, go for it I suppose (though the Alex I know would probably get the teaching degree, get a job, and start working and leading a pretty much stable lifestyle. Imagine going back to school again after that haha.)

BUT, if you DO decide to go into the field, hit me up. I'll send all my psychotic patients to you HAHA. (That does NOT include me kthxbai.)

btw this is you
